After a step back from the sport, Katie and Donna decided to purchase Josie in May 2023. With a kind personality, willing attitude, and lots of athletic ability, Josie has the makings to be a successful equine athlete in any discipline. Josie has recently started jumping, with hopes of competing under Katie on the Southern Ontario Combined Training Association in 2024 as she develops and finds her own niche as an equine athlete. Katie has brandished Josie under the 'RE' initials, representing Renegade Equestrian as the first horse with this prefix.

Katie and Eamonn competed together from 2016-2020, producing excellent results at shows in both Canada and the United States, up to the Training level. Eamonn was a talented, spunky horse that quickly taught Katie the necessary requirements and skills to work with a sensitive, young Thoroughbred. Katie and Eamonn participated in the Ontario Young Rider program, and were active and avid participants. After a fall in 2020, Katie decided to step back from the sport momentarily, allowing Eamonn to compete under other riders. Sadly in November 2022, Eamonn sustained an injury in a paddock accident, and needed to be put to rest at the home farm in Princeton, Ontario. He is the driving force behind Renegade Equestrian, and the inspiration for the work Katie does with new and upcoming horses and riders.
